Good morning.A Conneautville woman is adjusting to state prison this morning after being sentenced to serve six to fifteen years for a fatal, drug-fueled head-on collision in Hayfield Township. Crawford County Common Pleas Judge Francis Schultz handed down the sentence to forty-five-year-old Nicole Kelyman, who pleaded guilty to felony homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence. State police investigators proved Kelyman was high on methamphetamine when she crossed the center line on Route ninety-eight, killing eighty-one-year-old James Barnhart Senior and severely injuring his passenger. Kelyman was also sentenced on concurrent drug trafficking charges.Meanwhile, local motorists should prepare for shifting traffic patterns today as PennDOT continues its weekly road maintenance schedule across Crawford County. Maintenance crews are scheduled to begin essential bridge repairs on Route six in Cambridge Township. Additional operations throughout the week will include extensive crack sealing on Route eight and Route eighty-nine near Titusville.And Titusville safety officials are moving forward with requests for over two hundred thirty-eight thousand dollars in community development grants to fast-track the purchase of a new mini-pumper fire truck.
