Good morning.The former Hermitage National Guard Armory is officially set to become a major new community center. State officials cleared the path for the city to buy the North Hermitage Road property. Once the Guard moves into its new facility next year, the seven-acre site will be turned into an indoor walking and recreation hub.Conneaut Lake Borough plans to borrow two-hundred-thousand dollars for a major traffic light overhaul. Council members approved advertising the loan to fund new light poles at the busy intersections of Water and Third, and Water and Fourth streets. PennDOT will eventually reimburse eighty percent of the costs.And a Springfield Township winery is putting a historic kick into America’s upcoming two-hundred-and-fiftieth birthday. Libations Winery has rolled out "America’s Two-Fifty," a hard cider made with Pennsylvania apples and aged in bourbon barrels.
