Good morning.Erie authorities are working to identify a body recovered from Lake Erie waters near Lawrence Park on Sunday. The coroner is currently investigating if the discovery is linked to local fisherman Corey Zearfoss, who has been missing since a fishing trip on July 8th. The Coast Guard previously suspended an extensive search for Zearfoss two weeks ago after his boat was located in Canadian waters. We will provide updates as the coroner confirms an identity.In Cambridge Springs, a major project to replace a blighted former nursing home has secured 400-thousand dollars in new state funding. The grant clears the way for construction of a modern 9-thousand-square-foot senior center, finally replacing the borough’s overcrowded facility on Venango Avenue.And across Mercer County, officials have announced 3-point-4 million dollars in state redevelopment grants.
