Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that Gregory Stanbro, Michelle Chapin, Katrina Burgeson, and Kimberly Hogan have been charged with neglect and Medicaid fraud after an investigation revealed a resident at Hickory Creek Home Care was left confined to a chair in deplorable conditions for roughly forty days before dying.In Mercer County, health officials report that West Nile virus has been detected in a second mosquito sample collected from Hempfield Township this year. While no human cases have been reported in the county, officials are urging residents and local businesses to eliminate standing water and take extra precautions against mosquito bites during early morning and evening hours.And in Saegertown, patriotic celebrations kick off tonight with a parade down Euclid Avenue, launching a weekend of events marking the country's two-hundred-fiftieth anniversary.
