The decision means the massive one-hundred-thousand-square-foot building and twenty-acre property could sell to the highest bidder for as little as one dollar. The move comes as the district reaches a temporary agreement with local taxing bodies to pause a dispute over a hundred-and-thirty-two-thousand-dollar unpaid property tax bill.Health officials are warning of a major surge in measles cases across Pennsylvania as kids prepare to head back to the classroom. The state Department of Health reports nearly three-hundred confirmed cases so far this year across nineteen counties—a massive spike compared to just one-hundred-twelve total cases seen over the previous twenty-five years combined.And state police in Erie are moving their headquarters.
