Good morning.Delayed property tax bills for French Creek Township residents should be arriving in the mail any day now. The Crawford Central School Board voted unanimously to approve third-party collector Berkheimer to handle taxes for the township's five-hundred-fifty-two parcels, resolving a weeks-long delay caused by the sudden resignation of the longtime local tax collector.In Cambridge Springs, borough officials are officially taking bids to demolish the blighted former Iron Horse Saloon building on South Main Street. The borough acquired the historic property through eminent domain after a three-year battle with the owner over severe safety hazards and code violations. Sealed bids are due September seventeenth, with work expected to be completed by the end of the year.And Titusville City Council has authorized the local redevelopment authority to apply for a three-hundred-fifty-thousand-dollar state grant to help low-income homeowners bring their houses up to modern health and safety standards.
