Officials say forty-one-year-old Thomas was on his daily route on North Cottage Street when he spotted an elderly customer collapsed inside her home following a stroke, quickly dialing nine-one-one to get her lifesaving medical care.In Conneautville, the prospective new owner of Rolling Fields nursing home is asking Crawford County to slash the facility’s property tax assessment by fifty-five percent. Comfort Healthcare C-E-O Yosef Greenzweig told commissioners the nursing home is severely distressed, dropping the agreed purchase price from seven-point-five million down to four-point-three million dollars as the sale awaits state approval.And Crawford County marked the twenty-fifth anniversary of September eleventh over the weekend with the dedication of a new Emergency Services Memorial at the county courthouse.
