The pool has been closed for two summers, and officials are openly questioning if the city can afford the mounting repair costs.In Hornell, it is a different story. Officials have locked in June twenty-ninth as opening day for the James Street pool, featuring a brand-new shade pavilion built by local BOCES students.And hikers will have to wait for Stony Brook State Park to reopen its gorge trail.
