Good morning.Around seventy local residents gathered at Olean’s Lincoln Park for a coordinated “No Kings” demonstration. Protesters lined East State Street carrying signs to voice concerns over constitutional protections and government accountability, while counter-protesters met the demonstration with bullhorns across the street. Heavy afternoon rain kept the crowds smaller than previous rallies.Voters across Allegany County are preparing to head to the polls as primary elections approach this Tuesday, June twenty-third. High-profile contests include a countywide three-way Republican race for Allegany County Court Judge, alongside a Democratic primary for Congress. Early voting is officially underway right now and runs through this Sunday.And Steuben County officials are rolling out a free, twenty-four-seven scam prevention service called Silver-Shield.
