Good morning.A Rochester man is being held on fifty-thousand dollars cash bail in Steuben County after allegedly assaulting two people, including a sheriff's deputy. Authorities say fifty-seven-year-old Daniel Beal was arrested following a violent domestic call in Wayland, where he allegedly robbed a victim before strangling a responding deputy during an arrest attempt. Both the victim and the deputy were treated at local hospitals.Drivers in Hornell should prepare for major traffic pattern changes starting today along Route thirty-six. The State Department of Transportation reports that lane shifts and head-to-head traffic will begin as part of the sixty-four-million-dollar Gateway Corridor Transformation project. Traffic adjustments between County Route seventy and Bethesda Drive will remain in place through the end of the construction season.And New York State Electric and Gas has completed a major power upgrade in Dansville.
