Good morning.New details have emerged in the investigation into the rape and murder of a ninety-year-old woman in Corning. Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker praised the quick response of the Corning Police Department, which located twenty-nine-year-old suspect Jonathan Rivaldo in Bath within five hours of the attack. Rivaldo, who had been released from prison less than a week prior, remains held without bail and is scheduled to reappear in court on August eleventh.In Hornell, state lawmakers have passed legislative resolutions honoring the one-hundred-seventy-fifth anniversary of St. Ann's Church.
