Public Works officials say water pressure has been restored after repairing the broken valves, but impacted residents from Front Street East to the Olean town line must boil their water for at least one minute before drinking or cooking until safety testing is complete.In regional health news, Allegany County public health officials have confirmed a third case of measles and at least fourteen presumed positive cases. The latest infection, located in the Town of Independence, marks the county's first confirmed case outside of New Hudson, with contact tracers pointing to potential exposure links at livestock auctions and recent out-of-state travel.And U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer visited Alfred State College to launch a push for over six-point-one-million dollars in federal funding to expand rural healthcare training programs.
