Good morning.Steuben County health officials have confirmed two new measles cases, bringing the region’s summer total to four, with one case impacting St. James Hospital in Hornell. Both cases involve unvaccinated residents who are now safely isolated at home. Public health officials say potential exposures are being notified, and the overall risk to the vaccinated public remains low.In local government news, the City of Olean is launching a new incentive program to attract remote workers and home buyers to the area. The city is offering an eight-thousand-dollar relocation package—including four-thousand dollars in cash alongside local perks like Holiday Valley ski passes and Saint Bonaventure basketball tickets. Olean is currently the only city in New York State participating in the national initiative.And in Hornell community news, The Arc Allegany-Steuben is hosting a free sensory-friendly movie night at the Spotlight Theater on September fourteenth. The event features reduced sound levels, soft lighting, and extra space for guests with disabilities and sensory sensitivities.
