Good morning.Communities across Cattaraugus and Steuben counties marked the twenty-fifth anniversary of September eleventh with solemn weekend ceremonies. Over two-hundred residents gathered at Bradner Stadium in Olean, while Hornell observed the anniversary at Union Square Park by honoring local first responders and fallen Marine Zach Smith.In federal court, a forty-two-year-old Wellsville man faces up to life in prison after a jury convicted him on multiple felony charges. Federal prosecutors say Simon Gogolack was found guilty of kidnapping, witness tampering, and distributing fentanyl that resulted in a woman’s death.And in Olean, community members opposing a proposed wind farm are holding an informational meeting Monday night from six to eight p.m. at the Olean Public Library.
