The state fire marshal and Wood County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after an early morning blaze tore through a South Fourth Street mobile home on Sunday before spreading next door. No one was hurt, but dispatchers confirm this is the second time this exact home has caught fire in the past week.Meanwhile, a major traffic bottleneck has cleared in Pleasants County. The bridge in St. Marys was shut down for nearly eight hours yesterday after a tractor-trailer overturned while trying to turn left onto the span. The driver was uninjured, and crews officially reopened the bridge late yesterday evening.And finally, local veterans found a unique way to give back this Memorial Day.
