Edward McComas the Third pleaded not guilty to felony driving in an impaired state causing death, stemming from a 2025 Mineral Wells UTV crash that killed Chloe Barre and Joseph Lowers.Meanwhile, a legal battle is mounting over city recall rules. The Parkersburg city attorney is asking a judge to dismiss a resident's petition to recall the mayor and council president. The city argues a recall requires signatures from twenty percent of voters citywide, rather than just within an individual district.And commuters on Route sixty-eight should prepare for delays.
