Good morning. A former West Virginia police officer is back behind bars after pleading not guilty to the murder of Gretchen Fleming. Fifty-eight-year-old Preston Pierce entered the plea in Wood County Circuit Court following his extradition. Fleming disappeared in 2022, and her remains were recently identified via DNA matching.In local sports, the Gilmer County Titans fell just short of a state title this weekend, dropping a hard-fought battle to top-seeded Wahama in the Class A high school baseball championship.And a premier regional learning initiative returns to Wood County today.
