Good morning.West Virginia Air National Guard Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe has been honored with the inaugural Department of Justice Freedom Two-Fifty Hometown Hero Award. At an emotional ceremony at the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, Wolfe was recognized for his courage following a targeted ambush shooting in Washington, D.C. late last year that claimed the life of his partner, Specialist Sarah Beckstrom.The Mid-Ohio Valley is gearing up for an expanded lineup of Independence Day celebrations this week.
