Good morning.A federal judge has issued an ultimatum to the family of United States Senator Jim Justice over the future of The Greenbrier Resort. Judge Frank Volk ordered attorneys for the Justice family to explain why a foreclosure lawsuit filed by the hotel’s lender should not move forward. The order comes after the family missed a deadline to close on a five-hundred-million-dollar refinancing deal to keep control of the historic property.In Parkersburg, city crews have demolished the former Fire Station Three at Thirteenth and Liberty streets. The Depression-era facility was torn down Monday after sitting vacant since firefighters relocated to a new station on Briant Street in May. Mayor Tom Joyce says the city chose to demolish the building quickly after it was broken into twice in recent weeks.And Governor Patrick Morrisey has named Carl Ayers as the new cabinet secretary for the West Virginia Department of Human Services. Ayers brings nearly thirty years of social services experience from Virginia, where he served as deputy commissioner.
