Good morning.Parkersburg City Council votes Tuesday on an updated recycling ordinance charging all residents three dollars monthly to comply with a recent court ruling. Council will also consider final approval for a twenty-five-million-dollar water filtration project to remove forever chemicals, backed largely by settlement funds from Chemours.Leadership is changing at the Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau. Longtime President and CEO Mark Lewis is retiring on November first after fourteen years leading the bureau, with nine-year agency veteran Autumn Henthorn named as interim president.And in nearby Marietta, City Council authorized seeking a one-point-five-million-dollar loan to replace a failing nineteen-sixties-era generator at the water reclamation plant.
