 Good morning.Parkersburg High School is preparing to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of September eleventh with a special ceremony tomorrow afternoon at Stadium Field. The service will honor nineteen-ninety-two Parkersburg High graduate Mary Lou Hague, who was killed in the South Tower collapse at age twenty-six. The ceremony will feature remarks from Mayor Tom Joyce and Hague’s family, while the city of Vienna displays one-hundred-twenty flags along Grand Central Avenue.In local development, United States Representative Riley Moore has awarded a one-million-dollar federal grant to Wood County to remediate concrete at Spencer's Landing in Vienna, paving the way for a new park and multi-use venue.And the Wood County Board of Education has voted to table a planned renovation of Parkersburg High School’s stadium for eight weeks, giving project supporters time to raise additional funds to preserve more of the visitor section.For more news, download the radioNOVO app. I’m Codi Gaboff, radioNOVO News, a service of Seven Mountains Media.
