Good morning.West Virginia lawmakers kicked off three days of interim legislative meetings in Charleston, focusing on flood recovery and critical water infrastructure. Officials from the Water Development Authority briefed committee members on state efforts to leverage one hundred forty-five million dollars in funding to spur up to one billion dollars in total water and wastewater investments across the state over the next two years.Locally, outdoor enthusiasts gathered at Point Park over the weekend for the twelfth annual Parkersburg Paddlefest. Dozens of kayakers took to the Little Kanawha and Ohio Rivers for Friday night's Glow Paddle and Saturday morning trips out to Blennerhassett Island.And in nearby Marietta, work is officially underway on an eighty-thousand-dollar entryway beautification project along Pike Street near Exit One.
