              Governor Andy Beshear is responding to criticism lobbed his way by Republicans during the annual Fancy Farm Picnic over the weekend.  The governor missed the annual event known for political stump speeches on Saturday to attend a baseball tournament his son was playing in.  Congressman Andy Barr, who is running to replace Senator Mitch McConnell, took at jab a Beshear, saying he "worked his way up from nothing, if by nothing you mean starting as the son of a governor."  In response, Beshear posted on X, saying Steve is his dad, but Trump is Barr's "daddy".  Beshear also implied there is hypocrisy among Republicans who criticized him for missing the picnic, saying he missed one political event to watch his son play baseball, but there is no outrage over McConnell's ongoing absence from the U.S. Senate.           A Johnson County man is facing charges following a deadly shooting over the weekend.  Kentucky State Police report 27-year-old Blake Webb is in custody at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on a murder and other counts.  Investigators believe Webb shot and killed Richard Roberts outside a home in the community of Thealka, near Paintsville, following a fight on Saturday.  KSP is still investigating the incident.             An elderly Bowling Green man is accused of causing a deadly pedestrian crash in downtown Nashville on Saturday.  Metro Nashville Police say 87-year-old Thomas Cahill ran a red light before striking multiple people at Broadway and Fourth Avenue, the heart of Nashville's entertainment district.  A 58-year-old man from Australia was killed in the crash and three other people were hurt, some critically, according to authorities.  Officials say Cahill did not show signs of impairment.  The crash remains under investigation.            Officials are investigating after a missing man was found dead in McCreary County over the weekend.  The local sheriff's office says the body of Trevin McCollough was discovered on Saturday.  He was last seen alive last Wednesday in a field behind his home on Manning Road in Pine Knot, according to authorities.  Investigators are not releasing additional details at this time.
