 The National Weather Service is reporting a tornado in Hart County yesterday.  Experts say a radar-confirmed twister touched down near Munfordville, causing widespread damage and power outages.  Grayson County Emergency Management is also reporting around a dozen damaged buildings, with at least two people hospitalized with injuries.  NWS will be conducting storm surveys this morning.A Lexington community is being advised that spraying for mosquitoes will take place on Thursday.  The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department says the zip code 40505 will be sprayed between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. Thursday morning.  The health department says this comes after a mosquito trap on Johnsdale Drive recently caught a large number of mosquitoes.  The spray which will be used only affects adult mosquitoes which are flying at the time of spraying. A Somerset man is facing counts related to kidnapping and strangulation.  Kentucky State Police say the charges are related to an incident that happened in McCreary County on July 5th and 6th.  Suspect Scotty Nevels turned himself in at the Knox County Sheriff's Office on Monday, according to KSP.  No additional details have been made available so far. Kentucky's Moonshine University is closing at the end of the year.  The Louisville-based distilling program is part of Flavorman beverage company and began offering classes in 2013.  Since then, Moonshine University has helped launch nearly 300 distilleries.  Flavorman says it's decision to close Moonshine University comes after "a careful analysis of Flavorman's core operations and how the company can most effectively support the distilled spirits industry through product development and consulting services."Kentucky horse owners may end up facing a hay shortage this fall.  Experts say dry conditions reduced farmer yields on first-cut production at some farms this season.  Doctor Bob Coleman with the University of Kentucky warns that recent rain may not help make up the difference with later cuttings.  He recommends that horse owners start planning for fall and winter feed as soon as possible.
