Federal sources claim Santos placed online wagers betting against his own attendance at the President's State of the Union address last February, falsely telling the public he would attend before intentionally skipping the event to cash in on the bets.Down on Long Island, health officials have unveiled plans to construct the region's first brand-new hospital facility in decades. NYU Langone Health announced a massive development project at the Huntington Quadrangle in Melville. The sprawling medical complex will feature a five-hundred-bed state-of-the-art hospital, a specialized emergency department, and advanced research laboratories. The project will also completely relocate the university's medical school campus from Mineola and establish dedicated housing for incoming students and medical employees.Upstate in Syracuse, the Onondaga County Legislature has overwhelmingly approved two major structural government reforms.
