Authorities say the victim complied with fraudulent wire transfers before calling police when the suspect demanded gold bars, leading to a sting operation and felony grand larceny charges.In state infrastructure news, Governor Kathy Hochul announced the groundbreaking of a one-hundred-fifty-million-dollar state materials testing facility.
