Trump honored the emergency personnel and families in attendance.In regional court news, a Rochester businessman is accused of stealing more than eight-hundred-thousand dollars from three New York school districts. Prosecutors say Zacchary Weber, CEO of Health Economics Partners, unlawfully transferred employee health benefit funds from the Sodus, North Rose-Wolcott, and Bemus Point school districts into accounts controlled by his company.Also in court, two women face sentencing today in Canandaigua for their roles in the murder of Sam Nordquist, whose body was discovered in a Yates County field. Precious Arzuaga and Jennifer Quijano both pleaded guilty to first-degree murder charges and face up to life in prison.In Western New York, Buffalo police are asking for the public's help identifying a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist near fifty-one Ontario Street. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition where they later died.In the Capital Region, Saratoga County sheriff's deputies are searching for twenty-six-year-old John Kasaj in connection with an August rape in Milton. Authorities say Kasaj was last known to live in Halfmoon and may be driving a black Ford Mustang with New York license plate M-S-G-six-one-seven-nine.Meanwhile, back-to-school traffic is ramping up across the state as major districts, including Syracuse and Kingston, return to class today. Law enforcement agencies are reminding drivers to slow down in school zones and obey state laws requiring traffic to stop in both directions for stopped school buses with flashing red lights.On the economic front, New York's unemployment rate dropped to four-point-four percent, marking its first decline in nearly a year.
