RNN PA ROUNDUP The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is declaring a statewide Code Red Air Quality Alert due to Canadian wildfire smoke. DEP warns fine particulate matter in the air today could reach a level that is dangerous for everyone. Residents are strongly encouraged to limit outdoor activities, especially sensitive groups such as children and the elderly. A man charged with killing a 15-year-old is pleading guilty. Lycoming County officials say Ja'hsir Legare pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter this week in the death of Ahmeen Palmer. Palmer was shot and killed outside of a Loyalsock Township TGI Friday's in 2024. Legare faces up to 15 years in prison. Two people are dead after authorities say they were hit by a vehicle while riding a motorcycle. The crash was reported on Brush Valley Road near Sunbury Tuesday night. The victims are identified as Brian and Megin Wallace. The investigation is ongoing.
