Rafael Castro Named NABC First Team All-Mid Atlantic District

Rafael Castro, George Washingtons mens basketball star, has been named to the NABC First Team All-Mid Atlantic District, a significant achievement as hes the first from GW to earn this honor since 2023. Castros impressive performance this season includes averaging 15.4 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, making him one of only three players nationwide with these stats. Despite missing six games due to injury, he remains among the top players with at least 45 assists, steals, and blocks. Castros versatility and standout play have earned him a spot on the ten-player regional team, alongside Yales Nick Townsend as the lone mid-major picks.
