Rage Cage - Episode June 5, 2026

from Rage Cage

Well, since everyone's sharing their "first time we met" stories on social media, as it typically seems to be anniversary season, instead of getting annoyed, ... what the heck, I'll share mine too! What? Nat Kaos was actually in LOVE at one point? Believe it or not, it's true! It was the summer of 1992, when I visited Japan for the first time since childhood. It was there, when I met Izumi. When our eyes met, they instantly became glued, and next thing we know, we're chatting over a tea at a nearby cafe. Coming back to Canada was the last thing on my mind, as I REALLY wanted to spend more time with her, and possibly start our new chapter together. However, ultimately, we (reluctantly) agreed that, because our lives were different, in different places, we should go separate ways to take care of our own future plans first. However, we still dated each other for the rest of my summer in Japan, ... and on our last day together, at the Osaka airport, ... we held onto each other for what seemed like an hour. My shirt felt like wet towel from her tears, and pretty sure there was some "sense" of regret, that maybe, something COULD'VE worked, because I sure felt that way. However, disrupting her future plan was something I would not forgive myself for, so it was for the best. 34 years later, ... I'm pretty sure she followed up on her plan to become a nurse, and made a difference to thousands of lives, I know she made a difference in MY life. Even after just 3 months together, I'm a better person, because of her. I still think about her, she will always be my angel. Love you Izumi! As for this week's episode: yeah, little more heavier, ... and EVIL, than last week. It is the RAGE CAGE afterall.
