Rage Cage - Episode May 8, 2026

from Rage Cage

Summer of 1992: a year after my high school graduation, I visited Japan for the first time in 12 years. While there, I met this beautiful woman (my age) named Izumi, who I'm certain that she liked me! Hehehee! Anyways, one thing we talked about was our love of music, and I mentioned my favourite local volunteer-run radio station called CJSW. Izumi asked me if I ever thought of join them myself, and I replied: "Well, public speaking isn't really my thing", to which she replied: "Then why not use your theater background?", and that's when the bulb flashed in my head! After the tearful good-bye with everyone (especially Izumi! God, I wish she was mine!), it was back to Calgary, starting my University, and joining CJSW, which never would've happened if I hadn't met Izumi!
