It’s an excerpt from my conversation with Iyanu focusing on Lagos life and her “serial killer ways” of going to the movies alone. In this episode, we talked about the changes that have occurred in Lagos since the last time I was there and about the excessive carbohydrate consumption (especially rice) in Nigeria. Well, Iyanu was bent on defending her choice of going to the movies alone, and she even took a swipe at me for meditating on the throne of inspiration (aka the toilet seat). So I leave you guys to judge (please don’t vote in her favor), which of these is creepy: going to the movies alone as a form of self-care or spending an hour in the toilet meditating to receive fresh ideas?
