His books include "The Progressive Maharaja: Sir Madhava Rao's Hints on the Art and Science of Government," "To Raise a Fallen People: The Nineteenth-Century Origins of Indian Views on International Politics" and "Secrets and Leaks: The Dilemma of State Secrecy."
