Raiders Fall in Late-Inning Thriller

Wright State baseball dropped a heartbreaker 5-2 to Youngstown State, but their pitching staff shined—Cam Allen tossed six scoreless innings, and the bullpen held strong early. The Raiders struck first with a two-run second inning, thanks to clutch hitting and a Penguins error, but Youngstown answered with a three-run homer by Brady Shannon in the eighth and sealed it with two more in the ninth. The team wraps up their regular season tomorrow in a doubleheader starting at 1 PM, honoring the 2026 graduating class and seniors. Despite the loss, the pitching showed promise—and they’ll need to bounce back fast to finish strong at home. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
