Raiders Preseason Test Against Cardinals | Las Vegas News

The Las Vegas Raiders kick off preseason with a high-stakes Thursday night showdown against the Arizona Cardinals at Allegiant Stadium — their first real test under new coach Klint Kubiak. With only three exhibition games to evaluate the roster, every snap counts. The Cardinals, already tested in their Hall of Fame Game loss to Carolina, bring live competition as the Raiders aim to expose their strengths and weaknesses. Weather’s hot (just below 100°F), but tickets are shockingly cheap — some as low as $15 on resale. Fans should watch closely: the offensive line’s performance will determine if running back Ashton Jeanty can finally find space, while the secondary — featuring breakout candidates Jermod McCoy and undrafted rookie Hezekiah Masses — could steal the spotlight. This isn’t just another preseason game — it’s a make-or-break moment for players and coaches alike, shaping the final roster before the regular season begins.
