Raiders QB Uncertainty Could Be Their Secret Weapon | Las Vegas News

The Las Vegas Raiders are in quarterback limbo as they gear up for the season, juggling veteran Kirk Cousins and rookie Fernando Mendoza. While Cousins’ familiarity with the coaching staff makes him the likely Week One starter, Mendoza’s future looks bright. The team’s strategic ambiguity—keeping the starting job open while preseason hints point to Cousins—could be a weapon against their unpredictable opponent, the Dolphins. With a new system and roster, Las Vegas might look different each game, creating chaos for opponents. An official QB announcement is expected soon, but all signs point to Cousins leading the charge in Week One, with Mendoza stepping into the spotlight as the season unfolds.
