Raiders Shine at Horizon League Track

Wright State’s track & field teams capped off the Horizon League Outdoor Championships with standout performances: men’s seventh, women’s eighth overall, but packed with podium finishes. Thomas Cook soared to first in men’s high jump with a PB of 2.11m — now 72nd best in NCAA this spring. Hannah Falknor dominated the women’s 100m (11.76) then snagged silver in the 200m (24.57). Jude Elkins crushed his own record in the 110m hurdles (14.41) then placed fifth in the 100m. Aboubacar Soumahoro and Nathan Bright also shined in high jump, with Soumahoro adding sixth in triple jump. Women’s stars Mia Wyngarden (6th 800m) and Kaitlyn Goecke (8th 5000m) rounded out a weekend of personal bests and top finishes — solid closing chapter for the Raiders.
