Railway shutdown Government calls for binding arbitration resumption of service

t a news conference in Ottawa, Labour Minister Steven MacKinnon announces that he has directed the Canada Industrial Relations Board to impose final binding arbitration in an effort to end the ongoing labour disputes between the Teamsters union and Canada’s two largest railways.
