Rainfall prompts closure of C.R. 128 in Wilson County; flash flood warnings in effect

Update: As of 3:30 p.m., Wilson County has announced the closure of C.R. 465 between S.H. 119 and F.M. 538 in the Stockdale area as rainfall persists.  The National Weather Service has extended a flash flood warning until 6 p.m. for northeastern Bexar County, southeastern Comal County, and west central Guadalupe County, as thunderstorms drop heavy rainfall in those areas, where 2 to 3 inches of rain already have fallen.  ***(Original article posted at 3:21 pm) Wilson County officials have closed C.R. 128 to traffic in both directions at the old railroad bridge near Helton Nature Park north of Floresville,...
