from A Free Range Faith

In this conversation, Madie Walk shares her Christian testimony and the journey that transformed her understanding of Jesus from something she knew about, into a faith she was determined to live out in a radical way. Madie talks about wrestling with doubt and difficult seasons as a young person, the encounter with God she says changed the direction of her life, and why she decided she was going to be “all in” with Jesus. Her story eventually led her into missions through Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and Fire & Fragrance, including discipleship training in Kona, Hawaii, and outreach in Northern Cyprus. She also shares what she learned about evangelism, prayer, repentance, obedience, and genuinely loving people on the mission field. Now Madie is stepping into another season of ministry that includes reaching high school and college students, serving local communities in Nashville, TN and participating in international ministry. This conversation is a challenge to parents, young Christians, and the next generation: don't settle for a faith that only looks good from the outside. Pursue an authentic relationship with Jesus, be willing to follow where God leads, and don't underestimate what He can do through a life surrendered to Him. Our mission at A Free Range Faith is to help families build an authentic, faith-filled life and encourage the next generation to know and follow Jesus.
