Raising My Nephews as a Single Mom (Part One) - feat. Stephenie Beatty

Proverbs 22:6 (KJV) says: "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Isaiah 55:10-11 (NKJV) says: "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Raising children as a single parent is not easy, but with God's help, it is possible. Single parents often face very difficult challenges with their children because of the absence of the Mother or Father in the home. Often times, these children rebel at some point in their lives but, despite the rebellion that single parents may face, as the scripture above says, if you train up a child in the way he/she should go (according to the Word), when he/she grows older, they will not depart from it. In Part 1 of this episode, I speak with Stephenie Beatty about some of her journey raising her nephews (sons) as a single Mom.
