We were just kind of going through the motions. My mom was always very volatile, had a temper, that sort of thing. So it was always sort of as long as she was okay, everything was good in in the house.17:53 - My mom was then a different person outside, but she was the same miserable person inside. I knew she had a temper. I knew she was just horrible. But then, we would go to the Kingdom Hall, and she was this whole different person. So it was this traumatic experience. It was horrible. 18:55  - We did Christmas is big. We didn't have a huge family, but I remember every Christmas and New Year's and Thanksgiving, and it stopped. And her reasoning to me, which I found later, much later in my adult life, was our family turned their back on us. The majority of our family is Catholic, and she said they turned their backs on us.
