Ramírez Back With Custom Gloves | Cleveland Guardians News

José Ramírez is back swinging for the Cleveland Guardians after five weeks off for hand surgery, proudly sporting custom batting gloves with extra padding to protect his repaired hamate bone. His return, just over five weeks after the procedure, comes as the team moves outfielder Kahlil Watson to Triple-A to make room — despite Watson’s solid recent performance. Ramírez joked the team didn’t need him, recalling their seven-homer game while he was sidelined, but the truth is they struggled mightily without him, going 15-15 and ranking near the bottom of the AL in runs and homers. Now, with the Guardians on a hot streak — tying a franchise record with seven homers in one game — Ramírez’s return couldn’t come at a better time as they race for the division lead. His presence is the spark they’ve been missing. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
