Ramirez’s Struggles Threaten Guardians’ Playoff Push | Cleveland Guardians News

Jose Ramirez’s return from hand surgery has thrown a wrench in the Guardians’ playoff push, as his power and speed have vanished since rejoining the lineup—just one home run since early June, zero extra-base hits in nine games, and a drop from 24 steals to just seven. With only 15 RBIs in 40 games and a costly error that cost them a run, the team is left wondering if he’ll ever be the same explosive hitter—and whether his cautious approach is protecting his hand or costing them crucial wins. While the Guardians remain in contention, Ramirez’s recovery could be the make-or-break factor for their postseason dreams.
