Ramrez Returns But Guardians Struggle | Cleveland Guardians News

Jos Ramrez is back on the field for the Cleveland Guardians after a month-long injury absence, bringing much-needed power to a struggling offense. Though the team dropped their first two games post-return — both against the Twins — Ramrez’s presence is undeniable: he’s already smacked 18 doubles (second on the team) and led the league in doubles in 2017. His two-RBI debut night proves his impact, even as the team’s overall offense sputters. With a three-game series against the Rays looming, Ramrez’s offensive leadership could be the spark Cleveland needs to turn things around.
