Rams Trade Draft Pick, Pass on QB Simpson

The Los Angeles Rams traded their second-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for cornerback Trent McDuffie, leaving them with only one first-round pick. They had interest in Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson, but now their next shot at him is in the third round. Fans are questioning if this trade cost them a future franchise quarterback, drawing parallels to past regrets like picking Tutu Atwell over Creed Humphrey. However, general manager Les Snead likely made the smart move as McDuffie will immediately improve the secondary, while any rookie quarterback would likely sit on the bench.
