R&B Series Part 4
from Outta Sight Records' Podcast Hosted by Outta Sight Records
Who needs the summer when the next 3 Outta Sight R&B collectables are as hot as these? The Northern end of R&B continues to pack the dance floors across Europe and it is showcased – at its best – in these in-demand cuts. 6 top tunes that would set you back a month’s wages if you’re lucky! All hard to find on their respective original labels which, incredibly, date from as early as 1952. Fortunately for us, when Vera Lynn and Rosemary Clooney were topping the charts Big Maybelle and Terry Timmons were ripping up the bar tops in the clubs of New York and Chicago. Get ‘em while they’re hot! RSV010 Big Maybelle - I've Got A Feeling / Terry Timmons - Got Nobody To Love RSV011 Little Arthur Mathews – I’m Gonna Whale On You / Willie Wright – I’m Gonna Leave You Baby, And I’m Goin’ Away To Stay RSV012 Billy Hambric – Flaming Mamie / The Upsetters - Jaywalking
