Ranjna Patel, ONZM, QSM is a wife, mother, and grandmother, with whānau and her community as key drivers in what she does, her heart pours out a whole lot of love to those around her!   Ranjna is the director and founder of Tāmaki Health and Gandhi Nivas, two remarkable organisations! Ranjna’s awards list is remarkable, winning the New Zealand Innovator Award at the 2021 Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Awards, she was also a Westpac Women of Influence Community Hero and was a finalist for New Zealander of the Year. Ranjna has an ONZM, a QSM, and is an inductee of the NZ Hall of Fame for Women Entrepreneurs, she is a lady that is always looking for more ways to contribute and meet the needs of her community! We talk about Ranjna’s childhood and the many lessons she learnt growing up, and the roles that she has in her community as a volunteer and how this fills her cup! One of the key topics we discuss with Ranjna is identity and being proud of who you are. Ranjna talks about being a Kiwi Indian woman and facing racism across multiple facets of life, the importance of diversity, and how this all links into our society.  This is a kōrero that we are really proud of and humbled to share with you all, talking about the important topics and the impact that we can all have.  All of our interviews are available to watch via our website too!
