Ranked Rivals Collide in Week One | Louisville Football News

College football kicks off with a heavyweight clash: No. 24 Louisville vs. No. 9 Ole Miss, the only ranked-vs-ranked game of Week 1. Legendary voice Sean McDonough calls play-by-play for ABC, joined by analyst Greg McElroy and sideline reporter Katie George. McDonough revels in the raw energy of college games and highlights Ole Miss’ elite talent—including Heisman frontrunner Trinidad Chambliss—and Louisville’s consistent dominance under Jeff Brohm. The spotlight also falls on Louisville QB Lincoln Kienholz, making his first start since high school after three years at Ohio State. McDonough raves about his broadcast team’s chemistry and admits the transfer portal and NIL deals make coverage tougher—but he’s thrilled to be there for this electric matchup. P.S.
