Continuing our live show from right here in the KISL studio in the greenhouse in Avalon Park. For the last hour we’re going to celebrate a birthday, play some records for no particular reason whatsoever, and just gonna go wild. And who knows what else may happen. Enjoy the show! Here’s the complete playlist: Segment 1: Fats Waller May 21 marked the birth in 1904 in Waverly, New York of Thomas Wright Waller, better known as “Fats”. My interest in vintage music began more than 30 years ago when I first heard Dr. Demento play Fat’s “Handful of Keys” on his show, and I play Fats’ recordings quite often on the show, but here are some of Fats’ lesser known compositions played by others.
